FAQS

Questions about what it’s like to work together?

Here are some of the most common questions I get from families about therapy. If you don’t see your question answered below, contact me.

  • Currently, all sessions are held online. Simply click on the link on your appointment reminder, type your name and you will enter my virtual waiting room.

  • Online therapy can be held from anywhere that has a good internet connection and privacy. You will be sent a link to the online session 24 hours before your appointment. At the time of your appointment, click the link, type your name and you will enter my virtual waiting room.

  • Currently, I do not offer any in-person sessions.

  • The initial session is $175 and the following sessions are $150.

I am in network with Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and CareFirst.

I also provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

  • During the first appointment I will conduct an assessment. This just means I will be asking you questions to get a clear picture of what’s going on.

  • Length of therapy varies by person, goals and history of problem. Some people might only need a few weeks to a few months, but others with childhood trauma might need years.
